Remote Start/Alarm bypass

I am getting my alarm/starter installed on Saturday. I was just looking into this & I realized that this bypass module doen not need a key, but just programming. Has anyone else used this system or one like it?

Got it oner a month now.

so its no key but what kind of programing did it require did you have to have to keys i heard those things fry the transponder ring for the key
