If you have someone rebuild it for you, most likely. But it would be way cheaper to go 5-speed.
the prob is that the auto tranny will not last long.

you can keep the auto but it would be much more ideal to have a 5 speed to go with it
It may be cheaper, I would have a shop do the swap anyways but all of the local shops that i talked to turn the idea down. A rebuild my be my only option.
I can't find any adequate 5spd tutorials, if there are any, can any of you point me in the right direction.
Depending on where you live maybe someone from TGC could help you who knows. Just read up on it there's a ton of threads about the 5-speed swap. Going 5-speed is just an overall better option.

Thats spicy's car. I think she had some tranny work done too.
the tranny in that car was built by ITP. There is about $4,000 into that tranny. A stock tranny will not hold that.
Yeah that was Spicys car with Evo motor and built tranny.
Is all about the bread. It makes senses now.
There is NOthing stock about that car.

You mean her fender lol and I saw her the other day at best buy when I was x-mas shopping at gateway mall. She is busy doing the family things these days. That car has seen 2 stock trannys and it's on the 3rd one which is the built one. I remember running that car a couple of times around the city. I miss the good old days ;-)Quote:
