I was wondering how to ground out the gauge to see if the needle moves? I connected the scan tool and it reads that the temperature sensor is working. So its got to be the gauge.

That is NO fun, I'm in the same boat with my 7G. Both sensors are working on the t-stat housing but no action from my gauge, its dead. Now to decide whether to replace it with an aftermarket prosport, OR J-yard hunt for another cluster for a gauge I can salvage.
