Alright, I searched and searched and searched, but I'm still not 100% sure on this. So will a 2g eclipse short throw kit fit on the 7g? Is there any modding that needs to be done to it or will it just bolt up? Thanks

no its a bolt on deal
yes it will fit. No modification neccessery. Takes about 10 minutes to install. I highly reccomend installing some upgraded shifter baseplate bushings. Steel are the best by far. Get the Symborski kit.
Get the B&M replica kit. Do not get the OBX shifter.
I might change mine...I have the short shifter for the galant....the longest shoort shifter around! LOL I Assume the eclipse one is visably shorter?

is it much shorter than ours? I may switch mine up if it is
our stock shifter throw is rediculously long, but when u think about it being meant as a family car it makes sense.
upgraded base bushings are a must. im either going to cut and weld mine or get a short shifter come spring
I dont have a stock shifter. I have a "short shifter" but its still long as fuck. I was just wondering if anyone has switched to the eclipse short shifter already and is it really short...well shorter than the one I have
i cut the stock shifter and rewelded it so my tastes.
