No tow hooks - the manual specifically states *not* to tow anything with the Galant, or if the Galant needs to be towed, to put it on a flatbed or those things that tow by the wheels.
Well f*** that shit, Winter is coming i got stuck last winter and because of no tow hook i had to dig my self out.. im thinking about making this in my dads workshop http://www.ebay.com/itm/GOLD-ANODIZE...80900257992%26 anyone know the dimensions ?
make it however you please
Thats the plan unless anyone can give me some dimensions.
Would you guys be interested in the dimensions if i do cook it up my self?
My opinion is hide it, as it shouldn't be visible kind of like most imported cars. #1 reason it shouldn't stick out beyond bumper is its a shin biter(if you ever hit your knee or shin against a tow hitch on a truck you know what I mean). 2. It is not particularly attractive.
totally with you there. i realy want to try and make it more like this one http://i1253.photobucket.com/albums/...-hektorsky.jpg but i will not be drilling a hole in the bumper because this is something i only need in the winter. but the picture above is allot harder to make than the one i linked in my first coment. maybe ill buy a couple of red bulls :P
front tow hook done the little 20x20x35 will be welded under the inner bumper. http://img194.imageshack.us/img194/2...intskillsk.jpg
Very cool. Definitely a good idea for those in snowy climate areas.
