I got a lillput 7.2 screen with a 5 pin "s-video" male my reciever only has RCA and I cant seem to find a 5 pin female to one RCA.... I'm not even sure if this is a s-video
here is the pattern of the 5pin male that i have from the screen:

so something like this with my pattern in FEMALE:

so i would need female(s-video or pin-din) to female (RCA) cable/ converter....
yes that is a rca, and a S-video connector. You can get a gender changer and hook up the rca's or you can get a S-video to RCA adapter or cable.
Either way, its not a hard task.
are you sure it's an s-video? i know the screens i have, the power wire to the screen looks like an s-video cable, but controls everything... and the other end of the wire has all the cable hookups.... i have 4 screens in my car and they're all the same wiring...
I know I'm gunna need a converter.... its "finding" one I'm having trouble with.... I'v also tried looking for cables that's s-video (F) to RCA (M)... they have em its trying to find one in my pattern...
so you're saying that the screen has all the power wires and everything, but the only video input on it is S-video??? weird... take a pic of the screen and it's wiring
check radio shack???
go to www.cablesonline.com Or you can get it from mp3car.comQuote:

"official" S-video is 4pin with the black plastic guide. 5 or 6pin svideo is "computer" svideo seen on video outputs from laptops and some older video cards. you can get these connectors at radio shack...but you might need to rebuy them every couple years... radio shack
radio shack only had 4pin mp3car don't have 5-pin-din...
this is the "only" cable coming out of the screen... there are no other in's and outs...
i agree with you there.Quote:

don't know the model # but here is a pix:

again this is the only cable coming out of this screen...
yea, thats not an s-video cable. that looks like one of them manufacturer specific cables to me. it should have like power and the inputs both on the same wire. if it was just video, then the screen would have to have gotten power from some sort of magical source.
yeah that's not s-video
Yeah I don't know what it is... and so far no one in mp3car doesn't either... what makes it hard to is because I don't know the model # so I hit up lilliput with the same pic to see if they sale spare parts...
yeah man... that's the main wire to the screen... there is the female connector to that and it splits into power, ground, remote, and video from there... i am in the same boat with the 2 i'm putting in the center... i had some spare cords around here, but can't seem to find them now and i can't find anywhere to order any... i'm going to check the local audio shop, and i hate to say it, maybe BB or CC
radioshack never has anything check out
tons of svideo items/adapters

Thats the plug for the main wire harness that has the power ground, rca, etc... on it.Quote:
