Ok, I am going nuts without my system... I just bought an 08 colbalt lt... I dont want to change the HU because i have controls on my steering wheel for volume and shit like that. I want to put my sub in though. Anyone have any Ideas????

Well Im' sure your stock headunit has an amp imput built into it. Then again... it is a chevy... JK :)
Open it up and check it out see if you can plug an amp into it and set up your subs with that.
Have you checked any Cobalt forums?
It is possible to change head units and keep your controls on your steering wheel.
Many of the new decks have this feature, all you need is an extra part.

If it is the pioneer system, then you already have a sub in the back. You just need to take the amp and swap it for your aftermarket stuff.
So it is not the factory pioneer system?
Like we have the regular radio and then the premium Infinity system...
well if you don't switch your HU out then you use a line out converter to switch your speaker signal into a low signal for your amp. but this route won't give you a good sound.
if you do switch out your HU, to keep your steering wheel controls, get a HU that has the ability for a wired remote and get the steering wheel controls unit from PAC
