Just want to know if these wont rub the wheel well especially when turning. 17x8 offset +42 with 225/45/17 tires. Car is lowered to 1.5" and springs are H&R. I'm really noob when it comes to this. TIA

nope
will be fine. no rub.
Great! thanks ricky db and Reelax!
wait just noticed, this is on a 7G? it might rub if that's the case... 7G guys can u chime in plz?
Dont think so, cos mine friend have got 18x8 on his AWD 7G and no problems at all.
i had 225/40 18 with a 42 offset on my 7g, never rubbed
I am running 17x8 +38 offset 5Zigens wrapped in 225/45/17's and I don't rub. Well...I only rub in the rear on excessive shock compression.
i have a 1.5 inch drop with 215/40/17 and never rubbed.. really depends on how the car sits as mine is on the tire

nope, you will be ok
i was only worried about the 225s as i know my 215s come close but if he can fit the 225s go for it
This is what my wheel and tire combo sit on my 7g if you are looking for a visual look.

thanks for all the help and comments sirs. I'm just worried it might rub cause the wheels i had before are 17x7 +40 offset with 225/45 on the rear rubs on excessive spring compression just like what 4-G-Rim said. front did not rub at all with 215/45. I'll check when the new tire arrives hope they will be fine for these offset and width.
You could run the the setup I am running if you want. Normal driving you will not experience any issues for the exception like i stated about excessive shock compression.
I plan to get my fenders rolled sometime as I plan to run a wider wheel and tire combo later down the road. If I get my fenders rolled with my current setup...I am pretty confident I will have no issues rubbing at all.
Thanks Kevin. How is fender rolling being done? Does it require special machine to do it? I have no idea. also, will it change the appearance of the fenders? I'm just waiting for the tires. My friend working in Yokohama tire will just give them for free so I have no choice but to put them. lol
There is a special tool for fender rolling and would highly suggest using that tool. Not sure who would have it there in the P.I....but maybe a reputable shop has one local.

The "ghetto" way to fender roll is using a baseball bat..but I wouldn't do that due to the higher risk of doing it wrong. You can Youtube it..there are videos on fender rolling.
It will slightly change the appearance of the fenders..if anything a slight flared look.
I am looking at a set of 16x7 rims with an et of 25. think they will fit?
yea they will fit unless you have like a 5 inch drop lol
an offset of +25 will make the wheels stick out of the fender a bit - ideally you really want between +35 and +45
Thanks 4-G-Rim! I'll wait for the tires hope everything will be fine. thanks for all the comments and help guys!
