oil pressure guage help!

hey, i just bought a oil pressure guage and i have an i4 where does the hose connnect on the engine block i cant find it help! thanks

Yep Allan is right. If you buy a mechanical Oil Pressure gauge you're running an oil line into your cabin. If you're gonna do that, make sure you only use braided steel oil line. The best alternative is to get an electronic oil pressure gauge. That keeps all the sensors and the oil under the hood and just sends the data to the cabin via a wire.

Either way you go, make sure you upgrade to braided oil line and make sure it doesn't touch or rub anything. I'm sorry about that guys car, but he's a moron. He either weakened the fitting doing the install or he ran the line from his oil sensor along the block and melted it. I've installed quite a few mechanical oil gauges and if you do it right, you won't have a problem.

it goes in to where the old oil sender is in the engine block
Nomally using a twin conn so normal sender works as well

It's usally located right above or near the oil filter.
