a curious jdm question

I just found out my parents are going to the philippines and I had an idea to see if they can get me jdm parts while theyre out there. one problem...they want money before they buy anything, so im wondering how much would some jdm parts cost in the philippines...im pretty sure some of the guys have done this. Im trying to get a bumper and side skirts. the only thing is i dont want to give them too much cuz ill never see that money again. another question, can they carry it back with them on the plane? if this is a go, im thinking maybe i can get a couple more people to join in. help me out pinoy brothas. thanks!!

tell them to go to BANAWE in manila. that's where a bunch of car customizing shops are. also talk to the guys at mymitsuph.com . they can lead you in the right direction. as far as bumpers, they don't have to many since the PI never got the VR4 and update VR4 bumpers but they did get the stock VRG. as far as FG, it's gonna b 2 big to bring back in the plane. but you can get smaller stuff like headlights, grills, tails etc. and bring that home in your suitcase; that's what i did with my tails and grill back in 1999.

as for the money, travelers checks will do. this way it's money without the hassel

I might have to tell them to get me 2nd gen tail light too because i made a dumbkoff move and bought one on ebay....literally i bought one, the drivers side and i didnt read the full listing....so now i need a passenger side tail. you all can laugh now.

How long are your parents gonna be there? maybe u can just send your parents money once they find out the price? My mom is planning a trip there later this year and im supposed to be finding out a way my dad can instantly send her money when she runs out lol.

last time i checked they were leaving feb 20th and coming back march 15th or so. ive never been to the phillippines so i have no way of knowing how to wire them money. if you find out, let me know.
