2000 2L euro Galant Clutch problem

Hey,

First post here hope i can get some help.

Anyhow i got a problem with my Clutch, drives fine with a bit of pressure and the pedal, but any hard pressing and the revs shoot up with no acceleration, pretty sure i need a new clutch and as mechanics here are a rip off, about $2000 to change a clutch i was wondering if anybody could tell me how to do it. mechanically i should be fine to do it just need to know what to look out for and any special tools or clutches you guys could recommend would be great. its a 2.L 4 cylinder G, hoping to upgrade as soon as my insurance gets cheaper.
