Hi my name is Charles. I am currently serving in the US Air Force stationed out at Nellis AFB, Las Vegas, NV. I just picked up a 2002 Mitsubishi Galant GTZ last night and I am looking to see what I can do with it.

Welcome! Nice nd clean.
Thanks. Just got it last night.
Welcome to TGC, and thanks for all you do for our country!
So its just a daily driver or did you get it with any plans for it in mind?
I want to see what I can mod on this car. Don't know anything about the car. Not engine the engine code for the 3.0L V6 it has.
Welcome! I'm going to air force basic training next monday.
welcome
Welcome to TGC. The engine in your car is a 6G72 - it can be modded but the aftermarket support is minimal compared to other makes/models. Many who have ventured down that path typically have custom work done.
Things to know - many parts are interchangeable with the 3rd generation Eclipse (00-05). Some typical "first mods" include lowering/suspension, intake, exhaust, wheels/tires etc.
Sounds like a good place to start. Thanks for the info.
welcome to TGC| clean GTZ & like Pete said thanks for all you do for our country
