so i got a ticket for my rear light going out... its not the fuse.... once in a while when im driving my lights on my speedometor goes out... that tells me that the rear lights went out.. then after a min of driving they light back up! idk what it is
im just sick and tired of this happening helpppp
loose wire or intermittent contact.
I would also check for a failed\failing relay or a short (idk if the 7G have a relay or not so that might not be an option)
I would guess the relay too.
Had the same thing happen coming home late one night, got pulled over but I told them it just happened and they let me go, but it was the relay, not the fuse
Can't remember which one it was but I recall it not being very easy to find...as it wasn't labeled 'rear lights'.
how do i reach it? in the engine or behind the radio and stuff?
If not the relay probably the switch itself.
It's one of the ones under the hood, with the fuses.
Actually, it's the second relay up on the left hand side. It's labeled TAIL on the fuse box cover. Replace that with another and see if the dash and tail lights turn on, if they do, then that's your culprit.
