Car rotate will not start could it be ignition module

I have 91 galant 140k miles on it have a cap and rotor on the vehicle that is only 6months old spark plugs are only 5months old I replace spark plugs every year the vehicle has a manual tranny.

Battery is fully charged I've used a sparkplug tester and no spark is coming thru neiter is spark coming from the coil. I have yet to check the coil which is flat type configuration I'll trace the positive wire and try to read the ohms on the primary and secondary ciruits. If these are out of spec I'll replace the coil yet if the igniter or ignition module is bad I'll try to replace that Yet the question is how do verify with certainty that the ignition module is gone?
