PICS of the chrome TYC altezzas

you guys know that i am not getting the altezzas but since i was at SEMA IAS this weekend i took some pictures at the TYC booth of the prototype chrome altezzas due to hit in JULY. they could not take them out of the locked case because their "boss" was not at the booth and they didn't have the keys. here is the best i could do to give more detail on what these tails look like for those of you that are interested. they are not flat like the JDM's but are kinda like the 3D design where the pods protrude from the rear but all behind a 1 piece clear lens. enjoy.

not bad, im not a fan of chrome altezzas at all though, if i were ever to get a pair, they would either hafta be color matched to my car or cf, preferebly color matched :wink:

even though altezzas seem to represent rice, its finally good that the we are actually getting new products made for our cars, lets not let it stop at altezzas https://www.thegalantcenter.org/styl...ult/tongue.gif

Yo!!! Thanks for the pics.... this has sealed my desicion to get the carbon fiber ones!!! the chromes does nothing for me... Ya know... The 3D design is the Eye catcher...

Mna unless you are a true Galant fan... I don't think alot of people are going to have them for a while... you know..

And if they do get them... i will apply a turn signal mod to the reverse lights .. you know.

I feel like talking shit. TYC employees don't know what the hell they're talking about. Nick (Dragon) and I were standing at the TYC booth and I decided to test their 'knowledge' and asked when the Galant taillights were coming out and the dude behind the counter said they're out now. All taillights in this cabinet are out. OK. I then told him who I was and that we were informed by a TYC representative that they would not be out until July. The guy then said, "Oh, we don't have Galant Taillights." I then pointed to that ugly thing that Reelax took a picture of and said "Right there." He then said, "Those aren't for the Galant." So I said, "It says right on the side 99-2002 Mitsubishi Galant." At that point I had enough.

haha, yeah DRAGON was w/ me when i took those pics right after u had left and their show staff were clowns. there was a model pushing me to enter the contest for a free set of tails but i ignored her to speak to their sales reps. their sales reps couldn't even get the case openned for me to take GOOD pics for you guys, saying they didn't have the keys. if they only knew how many buyers were represent they would have gotten off their lazy asses and openned it. i used to do lots of trade shows and we call the models "talent" in the industry. well their sales executives were basically "talent" as well... no knowledge on the products and just placed in the booth to make it look "nice".

is there a difference from the Tyc lights and the ones in the group that is going on right now? if so which are better quality?

when Rich turned to me and said "he said they're not out yet"....I was like "What!! There's a sticker on the tail lights itself that said Galant"

Those reps were pretty lame, I should have taken a pic of the reps dumb look on his face when Rich pointed out the sticker

i like the view from the front. but the 3d side view i don't like. but i have to see it in person.

my friend told me tyc has the best tailights. they don't leak and have a good warranty. although most of their designs are pretty nasty.

i would get these taillights instead of the other brands. cheap altezzas will leak and the lenses will pop out.

I like the other style Altezza's better but then again I would get the JDM tails before Altezzas.
