Yes, I ended up removing the rubber underneath the hood. It's the sucker that cause it not to latch.. Also I was able to get hold of the 3m 5lbs tape.. I installed w/ out the mesh but it doesn't look bad as i thought.
Looking forward to get the v. lip.. as soon as get the funds to work.

Yes. I clear coated it again last night while I was working on the lip..

Just out of curiousity, how much does a vogue lip cost, and will it fit the usdm stock bumper well at all?

Yes, there's 8 on each side.. the lip came pre drilled from Cali.. so you'll only need to line them up and drill holes to the bottom of the bumper.Quote:
