Just got my Canon T2i DSLR Camera today. Ordered the camera from newegg (body) and bought a used lens from ebay. Saved a lot of money, plus the camera came with a free 4gb card and camera case.

The latch on mine is BEEFY. I don't know about on the VIS hoods but on this SEIBON hood, the the fiberglass is more than an inch thick around the latch area.
I haven't check the latch yet. LOL
I have aerocatch pins to, for now I put 3 zip ties on the latch until I got the time to install the hood pins.
Just the regular 18-55mm lens it comes with. Btw, video in 1080p is insane on this, I can't wait to do a walk around and post.Quote:
