Not sure about the door, but the cluster looks nice

And this is with the grill and white plasti dipped rims. Not diggin the white like I did with the last rims, but I'm gonna try to paint the emblem black and put on black lugs to see if that makes it pop more

Still in need of either a new black cladding piece or a way to fix the existing cladding, I'll take a pic
Haven't posted here in a while, well I go new wheels for a steal if I may add...

Looking good jdyal, are those Evo 9 rims?
Spray painted and curb rashed or just some reallll bad pics?
Also, please lower it Mr. Dennis Anderson.
Yes they are
Lol I know they're bad, the dude had them painted black and I'm gonna strip them of the paint, and they're not rashed, that's just the paint peeling from the machine taking the tires on and off. I can't complain I got the four of them for $175. And when my asshole job gives me my early Sundays again, I will lower it. I got the teins and I need to do it soon since my rear left shock is going.
You ordered new shocks too? Good.
Please paint/powdercoat them in a simple BBS Diamond black type finish.

See that? Patience and a deal comes thru for you in some decent wheels. That's a damn good price for all four. Looking forward to seeing them powdercoated.
I always did dig your ride it isn't a big flashy project but its patient and steady good find on the wheels
JD i dont know if you can tell by the people here writing suggestions for you to get away from plastidip. I have made the same mistake to go that route but only for money being tight. Save the money into getting them paint/powdercoat.
I dont miss the 02-03 look. Hard to pull off. Need to lower that bad boy
Thanks man and you're right, Patience always worked for me.
Thanks man, that's what I'm going for.
Lol thanks and I really want to badly man, I like the way it's turning out but there's more surprises I need to put on in the future...
I dont like surprises
What are you going to do?
Nice find on the IX's Jay I agree with Cody silver respray and your tein's bam your set just move that friggin front plate please it hurts my eyes.....
Lol OK I will. And surprises are awesome
This!
Either plate in stock location or no plate at all. Since the paint is dull in the middle and the bumper has holes, then OEM location it is!
I dont wanna sound F'd up but, it looks as though it questions the owners intelligence, like he doesn't realize where it belongs.
Other than that I can't wait until the wheels are back to silver, OEM enkei or BBS gray would serve them well, maybe even a clean white as long as the enkei decal goes back on.
Cliffs: Tell the idiot tire guy who remounts your tires after the wheel revitalization is done to not slap weights on the outside lip, thats why stick ons were invented. Sheesh.
Hey guys I haven't been on here in a while. I work all the time and haven't really done anything to the G
http://i334.photobucket.com/albums/m...psf5e2a56a.jpg
I knew it was LONG overdue but I finally lowered it and stripped most of the paint off. Now just to get it powdercoated. Since winter is around the corner, I'm gonna save my pennies for the spring for the powder coating.

And me parked next to my hot ass co-worker who got a FREE 2013 Accord Coupe
Well its lowered and the wheels are already looking better.
Now few more things, first thst plate is still an eyesore, but its been said many times before so I get the feeling you dig it there.
Next pics of said co-worker or it didn't happen.
Also nothing in life is free, if shes as hot as you say she is, trust me when i say someone, somewhere who may be tapping dat ass is paying the car note on that honda, no doubt in my mind. Unless her folks got it gor her.

Hey guys, long time since I did anything but I finally painted the Evo ixs gunmetal and got new 235/45/17 tires for them with new tie rods and soon to come sway bar lings and also a fender roll since I'm rubbing. The lettering is almost all done to white and it's off to the interior and working on that JDM headlight and grill transformation
First thing I noticed, parked way too close to that curb. I say thus cuz I can't go over them it'll smash up my bumper

I like the look you got going with the 99-01 headlights man
Lol thanks guys and I noticed the curb but it didn't graze it I was surprised. And I like the lights since they're clear. They're only temporary because my retrofitted ones don't shoot the beams up. I needed a spare set so I can take the projectors put of my 8gb heads and work on retrofitting the jdms that I have
Long time no update. I'm gonna be swamped for the next few months so I don't know if I'll be able to do much on the G. But I have TONS of goodies for it that I've collected over the years lol. I have a set of brembos which I need SS lines, evo rear rotors and conversion and brake pads, some fender flares, a spoiler, and stuff that I can't remember, but I just scored these today:

It's pretty dusty and a little beat up but it just needs a little fiberglassing and paint.
http://i334.photobucket.com/albums/m...ps8w0agzrk.jpg
And this is more beat up but is mostly already fiber glassed, I need to do some more in some places and I'm going to color match it to the car anyway which doesn't matter to me. I may keep the center cf though since I think it will look nice and there's no scratches on it.
Nice update kid. I think we're all busy with life and shit. But its good to see you post up something as great as this.
Good pickups...
Thanks guys, I just need some time and maybe another set of hands to get some work done. All in all the purchase of course isn't perfect but to get those two things for $500 where all i really need to do is a little fiberglassing and paint seems like a good deal to me. Thanks John aka BadderKarma.
I got a question guys and I didn't feel like making a new thread for it. I want to paint my Evo ixs that black Diamond bbs color like Cody had mentioned. It's a nice light color where as the color I painted them seem to have gotten darker and turned almost black. I'm looking on how to achieve this and it's a lot harder than expected. So I'm wondering if anyone did this. I was looking at the duplicolor hyper silver and maybe I'll leave it like that or put some type of layer of translucent black over the silver to make it slightly darker almost like a tint. If not I may just do hyper silver and call it a day.
I believe it's a hyper black and in that case I have been told it's a 3 stage process.
I think you're right. A lot of hyper blacks that I've seen though are like a lighter black so it's almost already greyish. Just a little confused on a way I can accomplish this unless I start going out and mixing paint which I'm trying to avoid. Every time I look up hyper black it always leads me to that duplicolor shadow effect thing which is only used for chrome wheels and I am not going to experiment by painting the wheels chrome first. It probably won't work or just look sloppy.
Edit:
I think I may have found my solution:
https://youtu.be/4bh8hzwC2TA
That's the look I'm going for. And coincidentally enough those are the paints that I have used. The color on my evo ixs right now is the color he used as a base coat. So maybe I can wet sand it a little to get rid of the clear coat and do another light coat of the gunmetal and then top it off with the silver and clear coats.
I like the tails you have tbh
