Not really, There are plenty of factory cars that have HIDs without a projector lens so I don't think its that much of an issue.

I have been bothered by other ricers behind me on the freeway with their beam patterns not contolled with a shield/ projector. you must focus the direction of the light with a projector/shield built in or retro fit it some other DIY.
athere are three different headlight housing on the market today using these optics:Quote:

Lens Optics
Projector Optics
Complex reflector Optics
our 8 gens are using the Complex reflector optics
again if you don't have the built in shielding made for HIDs you will cause the annoyance. what you might be able to do if you get the kit and dont want to do it right is point your headlight as low as possible to avoid ROAD RAGE HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! or people suddenly cutting you off, and/or if you notice people screaming obscenities as they pass you you will know why.
i say put them in anyway but you should be informed with the correct information before you go out glaring the worlds eyeballs.

hids have special shields buddy.
another reason 4 ur fail
yes the raised trucks are super wak. i point the side mirror up and out while watching my rear view until i see their beam go right back in their eyes. works like a charm.FYI you mom is a fail;)Quote:

dang im starting to get angry they received the kits last week on friday i called mon they said that it was going to ship that same day it about to be friday and still hasnt been shipped gur now i know how DOCHstunr felt
yes, the package needs a sig too.
luckily theres a place near me.
Well I was replacing a burnt out headlight bulb (couldn't wait for my kit to arrive) and noticed my connector to the light is melted like a lot of other people. So it looks like I need a new harness.
What would be a good harness to get? Should I get the one from DDM racing at the bottom of the page? $25 a piece is not too bad so I can do this kit right.
Where does the harness connect to? I have never really looked where on my car (and it's below 0 outside). My passenger side looks like it was replaced because because there is electrical tape connecting the socket connector to the wires. So this should be done correctly and not another half ass repair job.
