if you hit someone, life is just going to suck. 1 because your fb is screwed and 2 because you hit some1 (with or without a bumpersupport). even with this thought, i'd still like at least sumting there.
in the photoshoped picture the sides are alot more rounded and closer to the body than the middle. :eureka: mayb? but i honest like how that ps lookd.
i tink i'm like the only 1 not tinkin about a turbo
ground clearance though is very important to me. would the fb without the lip be level with the body?

i will exactly have the same style front bumper as of that from maz's jdm bumper. our kit will be slimmer and closer to the body just like we all agreed before we started to make this project.
the bumper support is very impotant that u guys have it and i highly recommend it as well. w/o the bumper support, a 5mph impact to the front will cost u a lot of money to repair the front end. u will also need it coz if u take a closer look at mazarin's bolt pattern picture of the 7g. u'll see under the headlight for the 97-98 model there are 2 plastic screws that holds the bumper. those 2 plastic screws sits on top of the bumper support and it holds the bumper on place. for the 94-96 model there are 3 plastic screws on each side of the headlight. for insurance purposes if u don't have the bumper support, ur insurance will not pay for the full amount of the repair if ever u have an accident. the purpose of the bumper support is to stop heavy damage from accident and to hold the bumper. weither u like to have a bumper support or not, i will still make a custom bumper support for those who wants it.

the kit is not basically done yet so don't worry bout the vent or the style that i just posted coz its basically a prototype and i will exactly replicate the 240 style with the lip kit on it.

without the lip kit the kit itself will not level with the body specially with the side skirts on, it will just look awful if the lip kit is lower than the side skirts. i've seen a lot of the lip kit that is not level with the side skirts and it just doesn't look right.

Just my two cents, but I think we may be asking a LOTof x3m. If the bumper support needs to be trimmed then bust out a die grinder or dremel and trim that shit yourself. There will always be issues w/ bodykits, whether it's fitment or something of this nature. Personally I don't care because I dont have that piece anymore anyway, but let's take it easy on x.....he is doing a lot for us just by making this kit.

i will need to charge u guys extra coz i'm gonna make the bumper support as thick as the original and i'm gonna use some special resin to make the support really hard and tuff. group buy members will avail my special price of only $45 w/c is only the material cost for the bumper support that i'm gonna make. retail price for the bumper support is $100.

if u can measure the top portion of ur jdm bumper, i might be able to make the jdm conversion crashbar and at the same time it will also fit for the 240 spec bumper.

hey X, if you could make the support so it will fit the jdm bumper, that would be very beneficial for me. I'd like to eventually have both bumpers and use the jdm for everyday and the 240 for shows.

I personally would rather not have the vents. I am only getting the fb for the bigger opening in the front. So, I think the vents wouldn't look right.

i will just make the spec r front with the vent on the side and for those who doesn't want it let me know so that i can cover the vent. for those who are in the gb, i won't charge u if u want me to cover it. before u make any decision on closing the vent, i'll post a pic of the spec r bumper on the 7g so that u'll see if it is good for ur taste or not.
