Ok so after 206K miles and countless hours of playback, it's time for stockers to retire.
In their place some sweet Infinity Reference 6x9's and 6.5 separates. Sound with my Pio 4100 is so fresh and so clean.

Doc's gotta have bump while he operates, the LiL Setup.
Some old roadmasters, an Ol' Sony GT130 pretty much only good for it's AUX port, and some Diamond Audio D3 components covered with alpine type-s gills.

That's your in-shop setup? How'd you hook up the power for the headunit, I was pondering running something similar at my job since the trains' HVAC and air compressors get loud and drown out weak boomboxes.
We have a transformer/power supply unit, plugs into the wall and you get 12V out, you can run a 500 Watt amp/sub of it no prob or about 50A.
Looks like this.

That's How BestBuy and audio shops run their demo rooms, when Circuit City closed down my buddy got two of them for $50 Each.
Ahh I see, thanks for the info!!
Sometimes it's still not enough, my buddy will get too excited with the air saw, table saw or circular saw that it will still drown out the music.

On jack stands Tranny down, figured out my flywheel problem, flywheel is getting cut, tomorrow I'll try to find a OEM TOB.
Whoa there partner, are you sure that tile won't crack??
Never had a Kenwood, but Alpine is awesome. I like Pioneer because I like the designs of the head units, the durability of the products, and the quality of the audio output at the price point.
I turning my interior to black. here are some progress.

the one thing that bugs me about the head unit, is that it is a PITA to adjust the bass/treble/Mid and going to a certain setting wipes all the presets. And it doesnt fit 100% in the din slot, and the trin ring that comes with it is to big to fit in the slot so it kinda chilles there. Nothing noticable to most but bugs me
Interior pieces looking very fresh isaurio
