After that I'll use polishing compound and rewax it.
No, you need to wetsand to remove dust in the paint, then compound.
Ok will do. He was gonna help me do that anyway to get rid of the dirt bubbles caused from the previous paint job

The claybar removes all the residue, dirt and old wax off the clearcoat, leaving the paint bare for a fresh coat of wax.

how are the finishes on the muteki? ive never used them and was curious if they fade over time. I know the volks fade easily, works dont, and project kics dont. i just dont want to spend 200+ bucks on lug nuts on another set of wheels.Quote:

yeah, i got the project kics and cant believe they cost over 200. the good thing though is the lug nut has that floating washer so you dont mess up the finish on your wheel. so far no fading.
