I also need a new cat, which we all know, for fedspec cars, the downpipe and cat is one piece so i will replace the down pipe as well as the rest of the cat-back. It's seriously falling apart to the point where when I drive next to a wall I can hear the leak, it's very annoying. lol
^Thats the place and the product. Ive bought from them numerous parts. Never had a problem. This does eliminate the first cat for CA Spec cars, but should be fine for your Fed Spec. Whats pictured is what you get, no additional piping, meaning you just bolt this up to your OEM flexpipe.
alright sweet. This is actually the only header on ebay that looks complete to me. I need to replace that damn flexpipe too. lol
Yeah thats why I got it. LOL! Well if you find a good muffler shop they should be able to fabricate you one. They should have flexpipes on hand and just weld up the piping to that...
Did u see these?
Hard to find AEM Tru-Time cam gears for the 4G64:

Yeah, I was looking into those, but they're useless without a cam even if AEM says it increases horsepower and torque without.
Oh ok, I thought they might give a lil "Ummph!", but guess not.
yeah the ECU retards and advances timing as the engine needs it according to the stock specs (lift & duration) on the stock cam, so an adjustable cam gear wont really work unless you are running a bigger cam like an RPW Stage 1.
^Good to know.
Playing with some 30 sec. shutter.

I really need some external flashes, or strobes or something.
Just ordered pre-cut tint for the Galant. I want 35% but I might get 20% since I forgot to fill out the notes section on the paypal transaction (already emailed the seller). lol. Oh well, whichever works. Going to attempt to put it on with the help of my uncle (he's done a few cars), wish me luck!
I say go with 20%, at least for the rear. I wish my rear was darker
It's $250 fine here in IL for anything darker than 35% up front if there is anything draker than 35% in the rear. If i tint the rear 20% I cant tint the fronts.
did you get that header???
nope, been spending my money on food, gas, and school lately. being a broke full-time student sucks.
food pssssshhhh thats over rated lol, i know the feeling man im in that same boat,
yeah it gets old fast........ thats why i stopped going to school!!! lol well for about 2 years, i'm starting again in spring semester.... Because I no longer have to pay for school... so might as well do it, its free... Just stick to it man, I kinda wish I did, but at the same time i'm glad i didn't...
x2 i try to save up but fucking school eats up my cash considering im out of a job again so 0 income at the moment. got to live off my savings for a bit:011:.
I think i've seen that Honda that you have a pic off up in one of your earlier post around here in Elgin.
I freaking hate paying for Premium -___-
takes a little over $40 to fill up for me I think. Luckily I hardly have to drive my car once I'm back at my campus. Save the gas for the fun stuff ;)
V6 requires premium. I dunno about the I4
I used to use 89/Plus fuel, till one day I decided to call and ask my local Mitsubishi dealership what fuel was recommended for my I4? They told me 87 wasnt a good choice but would work, 89 was ok to use, but 91 would be the best choice. Better gas mileage and better engine life in the long run. I did notice better gas mileage, engine ran a lil smoother, and performance seemed a lil better. So Ive stuck with it ever since.
i would always use 87, but then switched to 89 and it runs more smooth and a bit more mileage.
More pics from last night's shananigans.

I was searching for winter wheels and came across a set of S14 240SX SE wheels for $50. I snagged them, spent another $30 on paint and they look like this now.
At the risk of getting grief for the color choice... I like the color ALOT! Can't wait to get tires on them and put them on the G!

I have to run the spacer for them to fit because they have a smaller hub bore (about 1mm) so the offset ends up at +25. Going to run a 205/55/16 on them. Gotta paint the other pair tomorrow.
jigz, why don't your just get the center bore bored out a hair by a machine shop.
I was going to do that, but I like where the offset ends up. lol.
