IIRC when I did the timing belt on my I4 the FSM said to fix a breaker bar somewhere and crank the engine a little without turning it on (as somebody said disconnect the crank sensor), and it came loose easily.
Does anyone know a good website to buy a used 4g64 motor? I have looked at some but im kind of afraid to hand over a certain amount of money on the internet. Has anyone ever hear of automotix.com or japanengine.com

Picked up a rear disc swap yesterday, want to piece everything together so I can tackle it without having to stop to hunt down parts. I was reading over the 'How to' and the Metering/Proportioning Valve swap.
Can I use the existing rear soft lines for the swap or buy new rear hoses that will fit the caliper?
I cut them from the car I took them from at the yard, I was thinking about saving them but they looked dry and had stress cracks in them.
It goes - hard line - soft line and hard line again. If you can get the second hard line off the drum cylinder w/o damaging it you can reuse it. If you damage it then you can always get $3 hard line from the parts store with M10x1.0 inverted flare fitting on each side
Doesn't the rear soft line just go into the caliper?
The stock drum soft line ends with female fitting, the caliper has female thread too.
The stock disc soft line has male fitting
So you are saying to use the last male hard line into the caliper?
Would it be easier/cleaner to just buy V6 soft lines?
Or that. Just be careful what you order, some v6s came with drums.

I you mean a yard, then yes. My buddy got a transmission for his G, did a flush runs perfect.
THanks for the input but I ended up buying a motor from another company in California.
My dashboard is cracked and I was going to replace it with one that's in really good condition. My current dash has the speaker in the middle, but my extra one doesn't and I was wondering if I make a hole in the extra one for the speaker, will it crack later on? Right now I have the speaker disconnected since I need to replace it, I was thinking of replacing the speaker when I switch out my dash.
Use a hole saw of the correct size.

^ I've seen them as big as 7 inches in diameter, obviously you'll need a drill.
