I was Just wandering how wide your wheels are. The JDM heads look good.
front 19x8.8 +27
back 19x9.5 +31 (more like +11) since i put 2 10mm spacers on it
i looked put on, cut, looked took off, cut, put back on, cut, put back on agin screwed every thing back together then the dam grille wouldnt fit so i started over and pulled everything from left to right till it fitted
"well on to the headlights i got them on but the fitment is off some how "
worrying about the lines likeuh crack head hot rodder 00D
i feel the same somtimes, except iv been black and gold pfftw
what do you mean when you say "fitment is off"? Gaps or the lines not aligning? Juat making sure you know that the lines on the headlight aren't supposed to line up with the lines of the hood. They look like they fit right from the pics.
IDK it could be just me but they look good. How are they off?
on those two peice headlights, the indicator/headlight gap doesnt line up the the bonnet/fender gap.
its weird

but that said, looks great mate. keep up the good work ;)
i guess im just beeing to picky and looking to hard lol

what rubber are u running fronts and rear, nice wheels by the way
hey i kno this is random but whats your trunk lookin like?
im running 215 35 r19s up front and 225 35 19s in the rear
man my trunk is all kinds of messed up at this point i had it all planned out to get a pancake tank and put in the spare well so i did that and then its like all of the dam road grimlins popped up and kept giving me flat tires and since i hae towing serice i thought it was no biggy but i didnt know at the time i only had a 15 mile coverage so imagine my surprise when i was 30 miles away from home and had to pay 5 bucks a mile after a long night of drinking and parting.
ile post a pic in the am but its not pretty at all i have the system the air ride a full sized jack and spare back there lol.
my interior has stayed the same i just need to order a second set of "show" floor mats because the checkered ones are only meant for show i guess because i have wore a hole in them where my clutch petal is lol
it is hard as fu#k daily driving this car
so far i have curb checked one of the rims
dented my hood up more just trying to open and close it so much
and replased a clutch (by myself with 3 jacks lol )
but on the bright side i hae learned by trial and error how to MIG weld
so my trunk should look just as good as my interior once i figure where i want to go with it. my main issue is my massive speaker box i built for my 15 its 3.2 cubes tuned to 30 hz im thinking about making a fiberglass beck for 4 15s that way i would still have my music trunk space and maybe do a couple of hair tricks
now with the 4 15'' subs are u concerned about all that added weight in the rear? ......... Where did u get ur wheels cause i seen the same ones at jdmautohouse
Damn Ricky! I haven't seen this thread since I bought your heads. Hope you don't mind but I'm just gonna put this here so you can see how they came out on mine n thanks again bro. http://i828.photobucket.com/albums/z...8/IMAG0069.jpg
no i figure it would only be about 20 more pounds than what i have back there now since my box weighs about 40 pounds (built it out of 3/4 MDF) and the subs dont need to be as beefy as what i have now since they sill share a few thousand watts or maybe only 1000 watts
i used to have 125 pounds of system in my trunk at one point so i know she can handle it
and about the rims im not sure of the company name anymore but they said they were a importer and are located in cali somewhere
yea this thread was brought back by popular demand lol and those heads look great on there and good job on that lip

So as a update :( all hell broke loose yesterday. It was a beautiful day the sun was out the birds were chirping chicks were jogging and I was rolling..... then BAM I broke a rear air shock slighly bent both my right rims and blew out my front tire. I was outside of my towing area so I had to make a comand decision lol I rolled that bish all the way back home (about 30 miles) on a flat and my ass end on the ground bouncing the whole way. I figured fuck it I have to get both rims fixed anyways its gonna be about 250 for both :( now I'm just waiting on my new air strut to come in. I have a week with nothing to do but go OCD on my interior since I can't drive her lol

damn kid sorry to hear, 30 miles push vs flatbed i feel u on that one
how did that happen, is that jus wear n tear from having air ride or did something cause it to happen??
Man, FTL! Sorry to hear bruh, hope she's up & running soon.

One of the minuses of air ride if one goes out so do your rims. Im sure you'll get that bad boy up and running again soon.
@ fresh
Well I have been experamenting with my rear struts getting them spaced out far enough that I could ride with no air in them and the wouldn't rub. I worked for about 2 weeks but I guess I had the angle on the bracket to steep and it broke my air clinder shaft and the rest is history.
The rest of my air ride was fine it was just the dent in the rim that made it loose air
This will NOT stop me from driving slammed lol

so my cars been down for a whole week :( im going to need help not to slap the hell out of the UPS guy! i guess ill go take the seats out and vacuum every inch of it while i wait lol
ok so time for a update. seeing as my car is still down i have to much time on my hands so i finally got to work on my trunk soo i gutted it looked at it for a day and a half till i figured out a plan on what to do and how to save space. i figured that since this is my daily driver i NEED a spare tire due to allll the blow outs i have on these rims.

surprise to see u still have a spare!
lol i recently had to go junkin to find one i learned there is nothing cool about setting on the side of the road for a simple flat tire. i felt like a chick but no one would help if i showed a lil leg (in most areas of dallas lol)
THE WELDING BEGINS IN THE TRUNK TOMORROW  CANT WAIT!
Nice progress :)
About the 2piece heads/ EU heads. Almost every car with stock heads has the same gap. Its a big mysteri LoL
[QUOTE=ricky_db;658188][COLOR="DarkOrange"]lol i recently had to go junkin to find one i learned there is nothing cool about setting on the side of the road for a simple flat tire. i felt like a chick but no one would help if i showed a lil leg (in most areas of dallas lol)
hahahahahahaha
thanks shizzle and ok im glad im not the only one lol
so for a update i picked up some new goodies lol
buuut they threw off my plans i had for my trunk so its back to the drawing board my new sub likes 6-8 cubes so i figure the whole trunk can be the box lol but now i have to glass, plug, seal, and deaden the whole thing. but without further delay THE SOLO X!!!!
OH YEA!

What you could do to save space is put the air cylinder underneath the car on the rear passenger side opposite the muffler. Theres an empty space there big enough to fit another muffler or that air cylinder...

is that the 18"?!?!?
Man that thing is a MONSTER!!!!! no matter what size it is. I heard a 12 before and it was literally like an earthquake below my feet. This is why I only mess with kicker audio products. They are top of the line IMO
