snagged an intake manifold from evom
^^$90
I have a jdm evo 8 intake mani with tb for sale. Pm me if any one is interesting.
...now you tell us lol oh well
Really what I did was just use dental floss and a hair dryer...heat up the area to where it burns to touch...and floss the letters off. If it snags or isn't working its way through , reheat and try again. Then here's what I learned...u get left with a hunk of glue residue right? Well don't try cleaning with your goo gone just yet, its a waste. This time get like a towel and wrap it around something kinda flat. I took a half of a clothes line pin and wrapped it with the towel. Double fold over the end to keep it from puncturing and scratching the car.
Alright, so you take the hair dryer and heat the glue up, and bump it along with the towel wrapped object in one hand, and with the hair dryer still heating the area in the other. Found out you can roll it all into a big ball if you take your time and it'll fall off lol. Then use goo gone. Any outline left behind...heat the area again and take the towel, dip it in goo gone and gently scrub back and forth. If that fails, then polishing compound. Afterwards rinse with water, and apply wax. Done
Finally gave it a bath after 2 month of neglecting and installed my finless gloss black grill
Bought oil and a filter. More Valvoline MaxLife 5W30 and a Bosch filter.
I lubed up my mm to get them installed, still have the rear and trans todo.
What do you think about that new Green Jug Valvoline, 50% recycled oil? What gives it's 50% recycled yet same price as conventional. IMO should be 50% off.
Would anyone here use that? I mean knowing it is recycled which I'm pretty sure some of the oils we use have recycled oil in them, but why come out and tell you and give you no incentive to buy, like some money off for example.
went and snaged a intake manifold and stared the process of replacing. After 3hours i got broken one off and putring new one on tomorrow.
So you found the Outlander Manifold?
^ I wouldn't. I'd feel ripped off for some reason.
Yeah... true.
at least give us 50% off -__-
I use Valvoline MaxLife recycled oil in the 8G, works fine. 3500 miles with a Bosch filter, oil still a dark gold color, and halfway between full and half. I use regular MaxLife in the GAGT, and have been for years, seems to work all the same. I'm not paying more, so no biggie to me.
"Green" screw that, if it doesn't save me my green then why buy it.
