ok so its been almost a year since this project got up and running. there have been good times and a boat load of bad times but as most of you know i left for a bit, got divorced, bought a home, started fixing on that and put the galant on a back burner.

im pretty sure its a lincoln ls 02 or 03 bumper. all i know for sure is that i liked it and had to have it lol so i have been cutting and heating and grinding for about 18MAN hrs so far and its startin to see things my way now

So did you use a donor car to put the front end back on the black G so far??? Did you replace or repair the radiator support? I ask bcz something doesnt look right with it, like its still tweaked out position in certain areas... I like the direction ur going with the new bumper :)

i got a quick lesson on plastic surgery and i was off to the races
i deleted the plat space in the front since after i cut it to the width of the galant a front plate wouldn't fit. so i had to change gears all the way and just get rid of the 8" sunken in space that it took me half a day to make SMDH.it just looks like alot of bondo but i assure you its not lol my new plastic guru adviser has been doing this for 27 years :shock:

i cant believe they want almost 200 bucks for the strip of chrome on the front i respectfully declined

Looks good, the body lines match up well with the car. Cant tell it was from another car for the most part.
Are you planning to do anything about the high spot in the top middle where the grille will be @?

thats because we melted the ends and reformed the sides from scratch lol and that high spot is actually just the bumper flexing from me not making the mounting point to the bumper barQuote:
