looks good now don't rush the paint curing process. my paint job took weeks to complete. are they baking it?
Looks really good so far. Those seats are nice!
impressive man
yeah, they bake the paint to cure it faster. the shop i had my car at did it in their paint booth between coats.
mine got baked too. im pretty sure they would be with all the detail work they are doing with yours
oh ok i thought that was just a booth didnt know it bakes too
all the work is beeing done by one guy and he is BAD ASS
THE CAR WILL BE DONE 2MARO but i will pick it up saturday morning so it can "bake" more and i can hit up the pick a part 1/3rd off sale 2maro to pick up some odds and ends
some booths are just booths, some are dual purpose w/ baking capacity, some they just bring in baking lights that emit infrared heat to cure the paint. also don't wash it for a week to be sure the paint is fully hardened.
no sweat though because will it even be ready to drive around in a week? considering all the reassembly and stuff you gotta do to get it road ready, it will give u time to do all that, then go wash it when it's all done. remember it's gonna be super clean (the paint at least) when u get it back so it shouldn't be too dirty after that first week.
Wow this build is going to end sooner than I thought
i can imagine how you will feel when youget the car back.... props man
