Tuned like a BOSS!
WTH? How? Are you tuned? Even with my lightfoot wife driving my 4-cyl Galant, she only managed to get ~350 out of a tank. Me in my V6? 250 to 280 consistently, and lately it's been lower, but I've been filling up before the light comes on.
Edit: I see you say you're tuned right at the bottom. Typing before reading FTL.
Haha I knew you would see that and correct it. I just sat here and waited lol. Imagine if I was manual swapped?
Yeah I'm super glad the stock pcm is tunable. Now if only I had a big map patch *clears throat* HAHA :P
I've already made stage 1 and stage 2 apex powered maps for the na 4g64
Shit I wanna get a 4-banger just to get that tune and save me some gas!
Thats the whole reason I didnt get a v6 this go around. The 4g64 loves me.
I think that's what I wanna go with this time. Although my last one only got like 250ish.
DAMN! 250 to a tank? Needed a tune up? Lol
Either that or pedal-to-floor contact was made many, many times. Even on my fastest tanks, I'd see 275 at least with a 4-banger.
I need to find and fix my vacuum leak because right now I'm only getting 21mpg in my 4g64 and it's a 5 speed. There's more problems too because my CEL says my charcoal canister needs to be replaced and EGR says it's clogged.
Thanks, and yeah its not plastidip
oh so its just flat paint?
Lol page 9.
Vacuum leak, cracked intake manifold, and God knows what else. Lol. But it did get a tune up shortly before I sold it.
You know Marc and I have always been collaborating together with the tuning stuff, Marc has excelled with the 4cyl motors for good reason with his Evo and Galant tuning. I could always help you out with a tune for the V6 motor as that is what I have mainly worked on for tunes.
Now people are seeing how OCD Marc and I are about our tuning and the results it is getting for overall performance and not just sucking your wallet dry for fuel costs
