chris, ive been looking into doing the digital climate control but i am unsure how to wire it up and is there bezzle for it or do we make something up?
Here's a bit info
http://mitsubishi.epcdata.ru/img/155/155_2103H9CB7T.png
And the parts plus all pricing
MR460293 Air conditioner and heater - Heater components - Transistor Transistor 1998 - 2004 - $45.44
MB438926 PAD,ROOM TEMPERATURE SENSOR - $0.87
MB813391 Hvac - Controls - Automatic temperature controls - Sunload sensor - $75.37
MB775764 Hvac - Controls - Automatic temperature controls - In-car temp sensor - $98.95
MB439072 Hvac - Controls - Automatic temperature controls - Air inlet sensor Air inlet sensor - $36.08
MB568586 Hvac - Controls - Automatic temperature controls - Coolant temp sensor - $52.13
MB813041 Hvac - Controls - Automatic temperature controls - Coolant temp sensor Coolant temp sensor, galant 1994 - 1997 - $0.97
I'd say the majority of those sensors are the same in the 2g diamante.
side note, some late model usdm 7gb LS's had auto climate control.
so wait is it mixed mechanical/electronic a/c control?
all parts are the same and the control box pinouts match fro Galant and Diamante. The adjustment motors are different
No it fully automatic.
Since i dont have AC, i an wire it in and have the hot/cold, position and fan speed adjustments working.
The rest of the sensors are for the AUTO mode. For example, I want 80 deg inside temp which i set on the display and i want this temp to be emitted at 2nd fan speed. The Control box will adjust the hot/cold motor and then the internal temp sensor will provide feedback to the control box(ECU). If the sensor tells the that the ambient temp is higher (lets say 95 deg, hot summer day), the Ecu will adjust the hot/cold motor to the cold side which automatically will turn on the AC untill the ambient temp reaches 80 deg. After that the AC will turn off until the temp goes up again and it will turn on again, maintaining the temp inside
Get those Grand Prix sides on the rear. I've been weighting to see them. How hard is the push button start?
lol my rims =) i think mines look better lol.. jk.. pics of ur sides arnt coming up... can u tell me what u used an did u have to mod um? pm plz
A lot of work put into this thing man. When I checked it out at mod it seemed like the 8g spoiler had a pretty good sized gap on the insides where it meets the trunk. I only noticed that because I had an issue with mine a few months back before I switched it over. I recommend clear silicone as a filler.
Is this tuned now? Any numbers?
its tuned as much it can be tuned to give me good gas milege when cruising and to put me to the seat when i stomp the pedal.
Here's a little update.
My new short route IC piping. It goes 2'' from the J-pipe to the intercooler then 2'' thru the radiator suport and my upper IC pipe is 2.5''. I can tell my car is so much faster now, it spools so much faster than before when I had 2.5'' all around.

I shaved the valve cover and i thats the new color. I have been tryin to keep the engine bay color all black, but i like the color so much. I will still keep the everything else black, just my valve cover will be in gold color

Nice man, mine is going to be opposite. Black vc with gold cam gears haha.
That gold looks really good. Did you paint it or powder coat?
looks great man.
i'm not going to beat around the bush though, that flexible drain pipe intake is an abomination lol.
how come nobady told me like 2 weeks ago i foung a galant with the automatic system like mko has
I already gave you the part number to the damn filter that works to go directly on the turbo
MKO, a quick battery relocation frees up the spot behind the passenger headlight for your air filter. Plus it cleans up the engine bay and balances the car better.
Regardless, nice work on the FMIC piping. If my intercooler wasn't so damn big I'd have done something similar.
