Nice wheel collection!
LOL! Reminds me of my collection, I have 5Zigen 5ZR's, OZ Ultralegerra's, and I recently bought a set of 17" Evo IX wheels for new DD wheels... lol
So good news and bad news, good news act xtss is good for gobs of torque, 429wtq to be exact, and it's certainly holding well now, turns out I was being robbed of power and torque by the slipping clutch, car got tossed on the dyno again after the the clutch replacement and ltw flywheel, gained 27whp and 24wtq, for a total of 231whp and 280wtq on 14psi on an evo 8 16g. bad news is my left calf is in for a work out
^Nice HP numbers
Nice!!
Good going
Sweet. looks like ill be hitting my goal then,
What size turbo? 9.8 or 10.5
Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2
yay!!! i knew it! congrats homie!
nice numbers. the XTSS(2600) only will feel heavy for the first week or so then it feels normal, it then becomes fun to hop in a lighter clutch car and almost put the clutch pedal through the firewall tho haha.
9.8. Im gonna get a new.manifold lower ic.pipe and n o2.dump and.call it.good

255/40/17 RS-3s, which are almost a good inch wider than my NT-05s on the volks haha. wheel gap is larger because of the slightly smaller overall diameter from going to 17s. Fits perfect with no rubbing anywhere even @ full lock...
also relocated the small battery i had, removed the battery tray, fabbed up two small L brackets to bolt to the bracket that held up the battery tray, and then cut and welded the battery tie down to work. fits great and moves the battery almost a foot back and eliminates the heavy tray. :) Pics of that in the am.
Oh man I need side shots! That looks like a good combo, mentally I'm picturing it rolling and I like.
i'll get some tomorrow, I'll keep them on till saturday for a photoshoot for a feature but then they come off and go in bags and into the house to stay warm, gonna put the volks on one side and the ssrs on the other for the shoot, should be good fun if the weather is somewhat cooperative.
Oh hell yeah. That sounds legit!
thanks guys, here's the battery relocation, not much, but saves 2.5 pounds and moves the battery further back, I would say it's right under the strut tower bar, the small battery saved like 20 pounds from my old one.

Nice! Good fab skills. Eventually you should paint it the color of your car.
hmm now im comtemplating 255's on my se37k's, rather then 245's
DO IT!
so the heater core is leaking ever so slightly after a pressure test, so that needs to be fixed, but I did wash the car finally

Your rear looks really high on the SSR.
And in that pic your purple looks just like my blue.
yeah, the color changes all the time, the rear looks way higher because of the smaller overall diameter that I chose to run for the sake of not rubbing.
i do love the rake, not gonna lie.
I think it makes the car look more aggressive, I like. That's the oem bumper right? It actually looks pretty good with the old style skirts!
plus the handling is better with the rear up like that. I rotates the best in the corners like that
Rockin the rake myself, due to having my stock springs in the rear... lowering springs killed my gr-2's :( Looks more aggressive imo. My drop front and rear is almost identical to yours, though mine might be a tad higher in the rear
well, a small update, no more power mods for this season because I wanna have a baseline turbo time around the track. so instead, moar handling, rear toe arms are going in this week, new tie rods up front, I'm gonna lower the rear a bit and raise the front a hair and install stiffer springs all around, also gonna adjust my rear sway bar and have the car cornerbalanced and aligned.
nice! Im in the same boat. Wifey bought me a trackday at Road America for my bday. The event is not until October so I will probably do the learning curve a few times in he summer first. nonetheless I'm looking forward to driving the car this year. Im sure you are stoked about yours too.

IDK if I like them Cody haha.
Man, our cars are becoming very similar by the minute. except, I have eBay ganadors instead of legit ganadors. My wife says the real ones are "too rich for my blood"
Beyond rad.
I love those! Looks awesome. I say keep it!
too gangsta. must get mine on asap
they look weird
Ganadors look awesome! Maybe carbon fiber wrap?
Nope.
they'll stay black till I can get them paint matched, no fake CF for me.
