welcome! parts of my car were brought home in my luggage from BANAWE. i gotta go back to tha PI... my parents miss me!
LOL! That sir is the King of the Road here...the JEEPNEY :orangecool: It's basically one (if not) the main mode of transportation here in the Philippines. Depending on the lenght of the Jeepney, one can hold at the back 22 people (the longest I've seen). Cargo/baggage can be placed at the top :002: The one pictured didn't have a roof rack so I guess it's for passengers only.

Ois PInoy ulit wee!!! BANAWE...hehehe! Car Parts haven. From your experience, do they have rare parts there? Or just stock parts for the Galant 8G?
I wish i can have a Galant similar to your...the Silver in the 1st page is really screaming at me to buy it. I also wish I could lower mine to that low a heigh...you know the roads here..it'll be a nightmare with the bumper/side sirts and worse the bottom scratching the humps and the enever road.

LOL! I'd still prefer a Galant hehe!
haha. 9G was pulling your leg. he knows what a jeepney is, he's pinoy.
most of my rare parts came from Japan. the parts i picked up in banawe were my tail lights and my front grill (new parts)... i put them in my luggage and put my clothes in a balikbayan box for the flight back to the US!
actually next time i'm there i'm going to bring home a tricycle... i've never seen one over here!
Engk...and I fell for it hook line and sinker...the avatar deceived me!!!!! :007: Baligtad huh...the clothes went via cargo style while the most precious items went into your luggage hehehe =) It's darn nice. Came from japan?
9G@
You ha...throws strawberries from Farmville =) what kind of dress up kit did you also put on your ride?
The Galants here are pretty lame...almost every other one you see are stock stock stock.
I wish there's a Dress up kit that would suit PI orads for everyday use =)
I can't believe it's been a year and a half since I last posted here :shocked2:
Anyway, I still haven't bought a Galant, the good ones always slip away from me. Anyway eh I hope this year is going to be "the" year! I'm in the final stages of closing a deal on a Galant 8g and I hope it all goes well.
Just waiting for the "ok" from the seller and shake hands on it.
If the deal won't push through, I'll have to go my 2nd choice.
