*2001 ESV6
-Eibach Springs
-KYB AGX's (front and back setting is 2)
-Rims: 17" Alba Inertia's
-Tires: 215/45/17 Sumitomo's
-Others: GDI front STB
Comments: Of coarse I love that it's lowered, although the Eibach's could be a little lower. I personally did not achieve the ride comfort I was hoping for with the AGX's, although that could be because my driver's-side adjustment dial doesn't turn at all( it's stuck on 2). Ride quality could also be do to the weight of my Alba's?

Review -
Putting these springs on my car was EXACTLY what I was wanting. The front and rear dropped perfectly. The stance looks more agressive. The handeling of the car is so much better now and has a very solid feel. These springs are perfect to keep daily driveability in your car while making it more agressive around the turns.

Review: love the ride (a little bouncy at first), but i think my shocks are blow, but i have no money to buy the real KYB's

Progress springs (front set on 1 rear set on 2)
KYB AGX struts
15in rims (dealer put them on)
Bridgestone Turanza (stock Mitsu tires)
trying to decide on a strut tower bar
I like the stance I wish it was lower but then again I still have the HUGE 15s on but for right now other things are more important than rims. Other than that the stance is verry aggressive and very very naughty. :ironchief3:

intrax sport springs
stock shocks/struts

ride is kinda bouncy...but not horrible ...stance and handling is great...but if u can get the supersports gettem..the lower the car a lil bit more...if ne one has intrax supersports and wanna trade me for my sports..lemme know https://www.thegalantcenter.org/styl...lt/biggrin.gif
I had the following on a 2001 ES V6
H&R sport springs
KYB AGX all around
GTZ control arms and stabilizer bars
Eclipse front strut tower bar
Energy Suspension bushing kit - full
Firm front & rear motor mounts
Ride was pretty kidney crushing, but wasn't unbearable. Take a ride in an M3, Evo, or Audi RS 6 and you'll see what I mean...my car rode just a tad softer. It handled great even on my factory tires, but there was absolutely no warning as to when you have reached the limit. Very dangerous for people who wanted to drive my car hard without my experience.

Review: Ride is bouncy, rough and kills your back on highways; extremely noisy. HIGHLY recomend replacing struts with performance shocks. Car handles like its on rails on sharp turns. Extremely controlled and definatly has excellent handling. Amazing stance, despite fact oil pan is 2" off ground. Not for speed bumps and dips. Once again, handles like a dream.

Lowering Springs Progress 2 inch drop in the front & 1.8 inch drop in the rear
Struts Kyb Agx 4 way adjustable
Rims Motegi Mr7 18s 7.5 inches wide
Tires Yokohama Parada Spec II 225/40/18
Strut Tower Bar Freedom Design
Camber Kit not needed
The car rides pretty good. Much better since the new struts have been installed. The drop before the struts was lower, but I'm guessing with a little time the car will adjust and the drop will be a little lower. The tires provide excellent grip.

...and since I forgot to write a review
I am more than pleased with the suspension setup I have right now. The KYB's mated with the Progress springs offer and aggressive but not too low stance. The Bridgestone tires have a high grip and they don't wear TOO fast. My roommate has a 94 talon tsi awd, h & r springs, kyb's all the way around and Kuhmo Ecsta Supra tires. I can hang with his ass through the twisties, although on the open i'm smoked. The car handles like a dream and the ride is to be expected from a sporty suspension. Not cadillac like, but when pushed performs very well.

I like the ride a lot. It drives real tight. I like the performance drive and don't find it tight at all. I believe that the original GTZ suspension was much the same. I would like to the set the front shocks a little tighter, but over all I love the ride. The drop was good. A half inch lower would be perfect. I didn't have to redo the camber. Obviously with the rear the tires will wear faster but with 8*8.5 and a 42 offset I was looking at major rub.

I love it....little bouncy, but nothing i can't cope with for improved handling and appearance. Easily cut the front wheel well gap in half, maybe more. Just low enough for me to get around on the shitty PA streets without leaving pieces of car on the road. :approve: :approve:

Sorry I cant post my suspension setup, since it's all standard GTi stuff atm, but I'm definately getting some ideas from you guys [which is, of course, the whole idea !] https://www.thegalantcenter.org/styl...lt/biggrin.gif
