I'm honestly surprised whomever has put miles on those things isn't dead. Holy fuck.

Take the mounts off and find out.
I will. Couldn't get to it today.

I'd get rid of that setup all together. They're as bad as cut springs. Find something stock you can run temporarily.
Well that's no good. FML!!! Nobody in my area is selling anything either.

My stock suspension is coming off within the next month. You can have it for free to get u by. Throw me a couple of bucks and shipping and it's yours if u r willing to wait for a bit.

BlackDragon, don't take all the negative comments about those specific sleeves to mean that all sleeves are bad.
The ones on your dampers are just junk. If I were you I'd stay on your blown stock stuff (as anything you buy used will likely also be blown or near it) and just save up for something that will actually last. Why work/spend twice?
Thanks Blue8g. I just wish I didn't spend the $100 on that set up.

When my rear gr2s blew, the struts had oil on em, that had a distinct smell..almost like baby oil but a lil more solvent like. I'm now on gr2s in the front and agx in the rear. The fronts managed to survive, so I never switched to agx. I'm on springs btw. Besides the rears blowing I don't really have anything bad to say about kyb..I mean I could only expect so much from an oem replacement. Now if I had the agxs to begin with, and they blew as fast, I woulda been upset. Because when I had agxs all arojnd on my 240sx, they lasted over 3yrs until I totaled it. Also ran springs on that car. Rockauto has good prices if you need kybs..also google rock auto discount code. Usually 10% off ones floating around
Thank you 8thLS6.

Oh, and I just bought driver inner tie rod and passenger outer tie rod, new flex pipe that has to be welded in, and a cat back! Can't wait to tear into it and get it legal.

So, I have a question. I went to replace the driver inner tie rod and couldn't get it out for anything. Went to Autozone and rented their inner tie rod tool to find out it was too big and just spun. Any advice on getting the old one out so I don't have to pay $200 to a shop to do it?
