You'll be looking @ around 2100 out the door for everything, not too bad, I hope you're gonna get it corner balanced Cody. And I have a hookup on the hyperco springs, lmk when you're interested.

As soon as the coilovers are installed, I will be getting the car corner balanced (with me in the car) along with getting a race alignment
I'm looking at getting the coils next spring/this winter, but how much we talking for the hypercos? I can buy those any time before installation
I have to disagree. I've had my Teins for five years and I am still attacking corners at speeds most people wont think about. Not to mention I was finishing pretty well in autox back when I first got them. When I say pretty well, I was coming in 2nd and third behind M3's and EVO's.
With the shitty tires I have on the car ATM I am still outhandling the likes of Mini Cooper S', Hyundai Genesis, Mazda Miatas, etc.
Have you ever driven the 8G with the Tein Set-up? I would suggest you do to get a real evaluation. not just what you read on the internet on different platforms. The only gripe I have about the Teins is that they dont have separate preload adjustment from ride height adjustment. But other than that, it's been REAL good to me.
Even when I had them almost at stock ride height the car still handled like it was on rails.
Though, If I had to choose again, I would go with the JIC's just for the sole purpose of preload adjustability without sacrificing ride height.
I'm just basing it on what I've read based on multiple platforms and Tein having bad shock dynos/spring tests
All I can tell you is I base my evaluation on driving the car. My Tein set-up feels better than my buddies C70 on KW's and Star specs and he would agree with me 100%.
I'm on all season Falkens BTW.
LOL.
His Volvo is pretty badass Prosche brakes, K04, etc.
Still though, my Galant still handles better than my buddies cooper S both when it was on stock suspension and now when its on coilovers. albeit its on Tein Basics but still, the Mini should handle better on stock suspension than my 3000lbs. boat anyways.
^x2
And Blue8g, planning on getting another Galant I see?
I'm pretty set on it actually.
I'm going with an 02/03.
Oh you do plan on making it 5 speed right?I dont think anyone fully fixed the speedometer problem on that year.
Cody is half-right, They're not trash but certainly not top-notch. I had my Tein Coilovers on for about 2-3 months and then the passenger strut blew. They do handle pretty good even with the blown strut, I have taken so dirty turns in it and not once skided out of control. Obviously they are complemented by strut tower brace and shorter front sway bar end links.
