i jus dipped in my "same money im unemployed" fund and ordered some goodies.. =p
I'm almost certain you don't need a rebuild. you put 450cc injectors on an ecu programmed for 275cc. Now upon immediate startup you saw smoke, you're running rich as expected. You need to tune the car to accept the 450's. You should just have gas in your oil from drowning the poor thing.

intake increased 15% cfm
echaust increased 20% cfm
comes with cam, followers, new stem seal, and 3 angle valve job..
coming my way should have it on friday.. also ordered a 20g and all components to install

question. so you put the maft in...i assume you also have the translator? and how did you wire it into the car....straight into the ECU? or is there a seperate tuning device on top of all of this??
the maft is plug and play minus one wire, the controller you tap goes into the ECU, its a seperate piece, not the translator its self
looking good... that built sohc looks pretty nice as well, any idea on what gains your getting from it?
