Thanks,
That's exactly what i wanted, but now i think about it,
do they feed off the low beams?
I have HIDs will they be visible at all?

you can tap them into your parking light lead, so when u have ur parking light on such as "auto starter" it will light your headlight housing very nicely. They are not going to very bright like your low beams no where close to that brightness.
reverse lights for 2nd gen JDM same as 3rd gen?
is it bulb 561 for the front map/courtesy lights? it looks like them but i wanted to make sure before i ordered some leds for them.

i put this in my car and look great :)
I did too but I got the one with 6 SMD LEDs on it
Also 7440 wedge bulbs aren't interchangeable with 194? Are they?
^^They are the ones for the JDM bulb holders, perhaps yours are modified USDM bulb holders. I had to buy all those when I installed mine.
hey, i got a JDM 8g galant 2003 (like in my signture)
i was wondering what bulb type & size do i need for
* digital climate control buttons

i wanna switch them in led and i cant' find the bulbs types of Galant anywhere :S
thanks alot
I'm in need of two replacement bulbs for a 2000 Galant GTZ Climate controls. These were stock.
Here's a look at what I found and the number (8) and letters (K & J) are the only clues I have as to what they are. There were four total; they look like LEDs to me.
Two black bases (J, yellow lamp) on the far left and right (??), a brown base (8, green lamp) and a grey base (K, blue lamp).
The J-type shown is from the far left of the climate control panel, illuminating the hot/cold dial.
8 and K are from the center and associated with lighting fan speed and illuminating the AC on/off.
On the right, I believe was another J type but that one got lost so it needs replacement too. It was still attached to its base. :093:
Any help in identifying/sourcing replacements would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Bulb 194 ledwholesalers.com best bulbs, work with dimmer switches, and bright
I found a 1999 ES v6 wreck that I pulled the climate control LEDs from. They're a bit different than my 2000 GTZ; three are yellow. Here are the middle two:

The bottom of the climate control unit is also different. In the 2000, the LEDs on the far left and far right are covered by the light plastic housing. In this 1999 ES v6, all four LEDs are easily accessible:

I believe I have 1156 in my outer ones.

Guys, looking to replace the burnt bulbs on my hvac control panel. The bulbs in it are tiny and the shops I checked didn't have 'em. I couldn't take a pic when I took them apart but let me share an image off eBay. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8aHRnO-l2p8MlRJWTU3N3RkNkU/edit?usp=sharing I want to replace the tiny bulbs within these buttons. Any idea what bulbs are inside them?
Is that from the 8g JDM galant? That climate control looks different from what we have here in the states. The last time I got my HVAC bulbs, I bought them from the dealer, they were not that expensive, and they come with little covers to match the OEM colors.
He wants to change the bulbs for the buttons. I don't think they're replaceable.

Yep. Want to replace the bulbs for the buttons. A mate of mine took the button apart to see whether the bulb can be replaced. It seemed replaceable. But we couldn't find the proper bulbs since they were tiny. My phone was dead at the time so I couldn't even take a pic to show you guys. By any chance, do you happen to know the smallest LED bulb numbers that might suit?
Just replaced my HVAC/climate control bulbs. They're the annoying little Toshiba V2 sockets with bulbs that clip inside of them. Kinda like christmas lights.
For a stopgap measure, OReilly's carries a pack of 2721 bulbs in little red plastic sockets. I pulled the bulbs out of the sockets and they fit fine in the Toshiba V2 sockets in our HVAC units.
Based on what I'm reading elsewhere, a T1.5 or #74 wedge base bulb will fit these sockets. Gonna order some LEDs to put in there later.
FYI, these are the same bulbs that light up the ash tray/cigarette lighter socket.
Okay, though I'm not sure how accurate it is, but concerning the HVAC bulbs, (if anyone is still wondering), I guess I found an answer from the 3G forum :)

put it simple, there are 2 T5s for the main light, then 1 T4(or T4.2?) right behind the middle switch - Supposed to be green, and the rest 3 are T3s (the blue one next to the T4 and 2 yellow for the 2 buttons)
I'm excited to put those coming new bulbs on and proves it is right
