If you spent that much on used wheels, it would do you good to find a machine shop that can fix the wheel for $50-100...if that.

true..... wheels can be fixed in most cases i would take it to a few local tire shops near you see what they have to say and get a rundown on pricing
also if you just put on new tires and you noticed the crack on the inside why didnt you just say fuck it and not get the tires at that time if you were going to get rid of them because of it and go with another size anyway? doesnt make much sense to me?
^^ 9G is so HOT!

8 inch SSR GT3s 2x18 9's 2x18 8's bolt pattern 5x114.3 or 5x4.5 5 lugs
The fronts fit perfect w/ 225 Tires.
But the back set of wheels are 9"
and have 255/40/zr18 tires. so i know thoes Gotta go, because the tires hit in the back when i put them on, i was wondering if anyone would know if i can just buy some 225/40/18's and have the 9' wheel fit ?

^ that looks really good!
Did you had rubbing issues with the +40 offset? The wheel that I'm planning to buy is also +40 and I'm wondering if it will rub with a lowered car.
You might be able to stretch them on. 235 might be better but you still might rub on dips, it all depends on your wheel offset in the rear and how much you are dropped. might have to go to a mom and pops tire shop to get them done. they can give you better info if it will. doubt discount tire or other major tire chain shops will stretch tires on.
Well just a bit of info :) the RSS GT3's Didnt fit in the back, I have went threw hell and back, But finally got my tires to fit, i will post some pictures this weekend. these have never been fit on a galant :P i can tell ya that much
I had to have the wheels machined down 5/16ths of an inch. And had to cut and roll my wheel wells just to even think of getting them to fit. Now a Camber kit is VERY essential. Because it is slowly cheweing away at my tires. just the small lip that sticks out. I have seen people with chunks gone, so i know that there is plenty of rubber in that area. my passanger side camber is 0.0 = )
My camber was fixed by having a tire blow out, and slam into a curb doing 40 miles an hour. Knocked my back passanger side tire out 1.3 inches. Setting my camber perfectly. My tire does not rub on that side. But im still -1.3 on the driver side, and i got some rubbin goin on around good hard corners. Going to have my frame straightened and install an adjustable camber kit ASAP.
Camber is measured in degrees not inches :)
Figured I would jump on this for the hell of it
