I want to plasti-dip my 1g now . I just need dent free fenders an a none crack front bumper.
There are streaks on the hood, but I really don't care lol. It looks good from far away and I just wanted something that was different and I only spent 45ish bucks so I'm happy.Quote:

6 cans? Most uses an average 12-14 cans to get a decent coat. The gallon is an equivalent of 14-17 rattle cans.Quote:

Nice work. I used Plasti-Dip on the emblems and rims of my Silverado to help my murdered out theme. Stuff works great, cheap, easy to peal off if there is a problem and doesn't take long or much effort to put on. there is a large room for error to. For those who want to do this, like all paints, becareful of overspray. Light dusting coats work better than trying to cover completely with the first coat.
^that brings me back when I was way younger making model airplanes, same method works very well with making sure the texture, finish and surface details come out right
I have nothing to lose. Let's see what $45 in 12 cans can do for me.

I'm gonna get me a gallon and borow my friend's spray gun to even out the swirls and give it an even coating. that's the visual difference between a spay gun and rattle can.

NIce Pete, even with a rattle can! I'm considering it for me, but I'd do red.
I need to redo my doors, I used most of the cans on my hood/roof/trunk.
There are some streaks on the hood, but the valence/roof/trunk look decent, if I had access to a clean garage and spray gun, I'd go over it again.
Anyway to clear the corners on the heads? I think it would tie in with the silver wheels more at the given angle of the first pic. Just an idea. Nice job either way

1.4mm-1.8mm tip
its pretty thick, after diluting it u should be good with a 1.8mm tip even tho specs say 2.5mm, I've seen people get a nice flow with 1.8mm and I've seen people do it with 1.4mm
It would b nice if they had plasti dip that has pearl n it.
Both my guns have 1.4 I believe. I have to check and I will see if there different size tips available for it.Quote:
