Awh shit! Paint dem red and your done ;)
That was the plan but I just ran out of daylight. BTW, what brand are these things?
I'm a little confused, I see they are different discs, and the new one actually looks bigger, but what did you actually do, because I can't compare the two pics all that well, they're different sides of the car. The caliper looks the same, but the discs are bigger?
^^^lmao get your bifocals son!
Their BBK big disc upgrade. The disc is bigger and you use a bracket for the stock caliper.
lmao why u always pickin on Greg, D!! lol
are those the powerslots?
Denver, I was wondering the same thing. I'm not sure, I just bought them from Dion. Maybe he knows for sure?
Meh, I'm used to getting shit from Deez, I can't see no bracket, how would I know? Lol looks good though!
Greg is cool peeps I just like to have fun wit him no disrespect! Why Denver I don't bust your chops every time you call me? Lol
The brand name is BBK they happened to go out of business iirc you can't get the brackets anymore but I believe r1 concepts does make the rotors. Aron might have the answer to that question. Anyone else know chime in here. You don't see the bracket because it's on the back side. Looks like this

It's all in fun bro I ain't bothered at all! I need to get my act together on my car, but I been ultra busy lately and ultra broke. The discs do look dope, keep the update coming Matt!
Time to give this thread some love. Haven't done much during the early part of the summer other than drive the hell out of it. I've had a few projects that I've been meaning to get done, but they just get pushed aside. Things changed a little this past week when I got the news my dad is selling his 1973 Challenger that he's owned since I was 5. I was a little bummed that the car that sparked and fueled my automotive passion, will be finding a new home. But now it's driving me to start making progress on my small projects to the Galant.
Got a few small things at Radio Shack and began soldering a few wires.

Connector complete. The short wire (from pin 2) will be going to the blue wire from the AEM UEGO. The long wire (from pin 5) goes to ground.

Wired in and the gauge finally has it's bezel. The other 2 holes will be open for now until I decide which gauges I'll end up with.

That looks awesome! How did you make the bezel?
Thanks Jigz!
This is the bezel I used.

It's such a cheaply made part, but it works just fine. I pushed it into the radio bezel from the front and the tabs for the gauge bezel almost hold it into place, but I bent them outwards from the backside and it holds itself firmly into place.

Sweet Jesus this challenger just gave me a huge boner!!!! Makes me miss my 71chevelle :(
Thats nifty! Im going to have to get myself one, the vent location is not being too nice to my oil pressure gauge when I have the heat on. lol Now to see what gauges I can put in the two extra holes. Boost and wideband are already on the pillar.
I tried to solder to those pins last year for the wideband... I failed miserably and have put it off since haha
The trick is to hold the soldering gun to the wire and connector to get them hot. That way, the solder will get inside and make a good connection rather than hardening right away. Also, only add small amounts of solder at a time.
Nice! I want to try and use my automatic wires for my analog output on my wideband. Then have evoscan read from the ecu pins instead of a separate connection.
Thumbs up for a new way to mount gauges to our bezel!
Nice work, Matt. Too bad about your dad's car... It looks sharp!
