okay thank you bgr for help. i understand whats going on now. and let us kno if theres any heat issues cuz i head these projectors werent made for hids
Actually it don't, at least not in person. The blue lights you could barely see, but when I took a picture of it, the camera enhanced the color and brightness. With the amber lights, it's actually more brighter than what the camera is able to capture. Sounds illogical, but it's not. The amber halos look much better in person than what I'm able to capture with the camera.
I finished up the passenger side. I was even able to get the vertical LED's to work, but one of the LED's is dead on the passenger side.

that looks sweet...great job
that looks amazing with your paintjob bro.. congrats
are they noticeable during daylight?
BGR, how did u do to have the leds blink more often than the side lights?
damnit, one of the vertical leds on my passenger side went out too. wtf
I didn't. For whatever reason, LED's blink faster than incandescent lights.
Have you ever had LED 1157 turn signal bulbs? They make your turn signals blink faster. However, since all my turn signals are incandescent, by default, they blink at their normal slow speed. I just tapped the turn signal wire and ground wire to give the LED's power, and like any LED bulb, it too blinked faster, but it didn't affect the incandescent bulbs (if that makes any sort of sense).
By the way, if anyone is going to tap the turn signal wires for power, there are 3 wires. Two green wires, one black. One of the green wires is thicker and has a solid yellow line (blinker) and the other is thinner and has a hashed yellow line (parking light).

Thanks. They're not very noticeable during the day, more so towards dusk. I took these pics around 7:45 in the evening. At that time, yeah, very noticeable. IMO, it's more brighter than a BMW's halo, although, their color is more of a brown amber whereas mine is a orange amber.
Hey BGR just wondering if you plan to make a Install tutorial for "DUMMIES"
I've been wanting to buy these for a while and now that i've seen what you can do with them...
cant wait for my tax refund to get these lights :)
one last thing BGR...which headlights do you have?
The all clear ones or the ones with the black casing?
he has the black ones.
I know which ones I'm getting now = )
Lol I 100% agree they are a trip. eventually the kinks will be worked out though!
