Finally finished putting my car back together from the paint shop. Got a new alarm system and tinted the windows.

Thanks guys, they are the morimoto h1 minis from TRS. Unfortunately I ran into some clearance issues when aiming that made the output completely unacceptable so its back to the drawing board. (As I speak! Heads are opened one is almost done currently getting my Taco Bell on.)
Vic, do you want to run your clearance problems by me? I may be able to figure out a solution. Either way, major props for trying the quads.
My personal retrofit project should be back in operation this weekend if I dont have to run errands. Shooting to have them completed by friday next week the latest but I should be done wed next week. Of course, pictures shall be posted.
Vic that's awesome looking, can't wait to see the output, I know you can figure it out. I've been assigned to a training class that takes me about 15 miles away from my tools, so my retro is on hold until at least April.
Damn Greg, thats unfortunate. Im still jelly about the bulbs you have. Although people are raving about the SVS. A couple hundred more lumens then cbi's and 85112+'s.

bought new tires, evans tires had a deal on buy 2 get 2 free tires, 430 for 4 new falkens, now just waiting on my d2 coilovers kit to come in tomorrow morning so i can go even lower.
Thanks for the props and encouragement, but unfortunately the quads were not a possibility in the USDM Projector housings, maybe the JDM housings but ATM cannot afford.
At first the clearance problem was the projectors sticking out too much and hitting the headlight lens while trying to adjust, so at max height the beams were halfway between the front bumper and the sweet spot they need to be. After going back to 'the drawing board' and hours of cutting and fabricating new mounting points using other methods, including the stock high beam reflector, the stock projector reflector bowl and fabricating similar brackets out of ABS plastic when the other options didn't work out. In the end running dual HID's was too 'hot', stock mounting points started to melt and the fabricated ABS bracket gave out too. I though about going to my buddy's shop and making some out of aluminum but then I figured the next plastic part it's attached too will just begin to melt from the transferred heat. I guess that's just how it goes sometimes huh?
So after almost getting them to work, in the end it all fell apart. I will admit I was pretty bummed. But I wasn't gonna stop there, I dug up my stock heads and a rattle can of flat black and went back to work. The entire chrome headlight 'trim thing' is flat black and so is the reflector bowl with just a Mini H1 peeking out from inside a gatling shroud. Even with just one projector per headlight it's still very impressive results, I'm very happy with the output of the mini's and so I figured I would kill 2 birds with one stone and retrofit the other G with the leftover mini's.
Pics up later in the day, or evening I should say. Right now 12hrs of fab work and thinking calls.... gonna turn in.
You know what Vic? It doesn't matter it didn't work. Major props for trying. If I were you, sell both minis and buy fxr.
