It warmed up enough to get my new 15" JBLs in. Sounds fantastic.

Box was too tall to fit with the subs facing the trunk lid, so I had to put them on their back.
How do you like those ? Coconut has
2 12in dual over voice coil subs that bang
Stick to 12's...they have a better range and sound just as good.

I had 3 12's but I need a little room in my trunk so I decided to get 2 15's instead, so far I am very pleased with them but I will have to wait to see how they hold up. And yes, demon, 12's do have a much better range but I have never had 15's before and wanted to give them a try.
Techno, you can fit thay box, you have to go in at angle, maybe remove the weather stripping (then re-install it).
I fit 2 12inch W6s in a HUGE ported box once.
When I closed the trunk the metal bars that hang down from the trunk just caught on the box and prevented the trunk from closing, is there a way around that?
I see. I put mine in with the subs firing towards the backseat, the box was all the way back up against the trunk lid
Ohh now I understand, I use my trunk quite a bit otherwise I would have just done that too
Why two 15's or three 12's....is one 8 or 10 not enough?
I used to love subs. Couldn't have too much bass for the girls. But now i try to save my ear drums and shed a little weight
Anyways, I got some replica SVR4 lips (front/rear) and I'm ordering a jdm rear finally. Can't wait
I've always had a fascination with subwoofers, couldn't tell you why. I like feeling the music almost as much as I do hearing it lol.
Most of it is probably because I'm a teenager.
Allow me to reintroduce myself!!
Lol na but I'm digging the drop tho

Call me old, but I've reached the point where I could really care less about my car audio setup as long as I can play audio from my phone. After a set of ok'ish speakers, it's all good.
If I want to crank it up, I'll go fire up the stereo system in my downstairs family room and let my Bose 601's rip.
A flip flop trunk? I thought of that as well but didn't want to spend the money on it
My question is how the hell have you managed to keep that board that covers the spare straight? mine is all concave and I hate it.
Mine was the same when I bought it a couple years ago. I took it out then laid it on a piece of 3/4 inch plywood and traced the outside edge to get the shape, then used a jigsaw to cut it to the right shape, then glued the old carpet on top of the new plywood. Good as new. It sticks up about a quarter of an inch but it's hard to tell when you are just looking at it.
I wish the stock infiniti speakers were built stronger for higher volume. I had friends trying to convince me to get a set of subs to match the amp (aftermarket) that came with my car, but it seemed pointless. I've always been more into mid and highs.
Also Techn0Nut1996 theres always these too if your just splicing and not tapping http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=iO6SRGyQdMw I used em once with a lighter. Just keep flame going back forth and not too close all around.
And last but not least, jax the drop looks real good, and djaltamira thanks for my new phone wallpaper lol
Box sits outside the spare well.
One solution I found, get another stock board and position it underneath yours upside down. It helps alot.
Another I used to do it is by getting a full size spare steelie, with 195/65/15 tire. Both can be found at the local yard.

for my 9g but I got some RRE Headers,
Should I have these coated or wrapped or anything??
Isaurio has a thread about wrapping headers. He explains some stuff with his 8g and why he chose to wrap. Try googling your question...you will find more info than you'd ever want
First thing to think about it need. Is your engine bay temps really that hot? Are you boosted (I'm guessing not) so they aren't going to be that hot. (Headers will up the temps though iirc)
If you decide it's too hot then what can you afford? Ceramic coating is really good but expensive. $300 for a $400 set of headers...not worth it to most people (prices are purely guessed) wrap is considerably cheaper.
Next is longevity. Modifying them voids any and all warranty chances. Wrap could cause rust unless you do it right. Etc
Next is looks. Which do you like more; how they are now, coated look, painted look, wrapped look, etc.
Personally I ceramic painted, wrapped, and re-painted mine:
