How does the head have cracked guides? Also did you decide on LR?

No idea. The cracks are very small and said it could be used as is but advised me against it since I'm going all out on this build and didn't want me to cheap out.
I decided against the LR setup. Keeping it as is after a short talk with Stewi. Building a LR block will tempt me to swap to an evo tranny one day. I don't want that.
New pistons arrived.
Wiseco 87mm will give me a final compression of 9.5:1 with the cometic head gasket.

Beautiful! That last pic is wallpaper-worthy.
Decided that I may use all Oem gaskets and seals so I compiled a list of part numbers and prices for those gaskets and seals

Excellent sir. Saving part numbers for reference later.
That's a good idea, you'll thank yourself later. (As I'm sure others too.) I could not tell you how many times my Calc tables helped me out. I'm sure I'm not alone with this, but I log everything, MSRP, actual price, source, part numbers, fitment notes, all oem and aftermarket, small or big.
What's STM?
Same here only thing I don't add is the price, I just don't want no how much I spend on it anymore.
Lol I need to know right now since I'm trying to be on a tight budget. But in reality I like to know prices so I can save myself money wherever I can.
STREET TUNED MOTORSPORTS. They are one of the biggest performance shops out of NY. Check their website out. Great people to deal with.
Went to the machine shop with a water pump and coolant pipe. Mocked up where I want two -10AN fittings drilled for extra crankcase ventilation.
Also ordered more parts that I'm waiting for to get here.

You can just use the b/s inspection hole on the other side.
Been buying parts for the car. I'll post this for now.
It's an ETS 3" evo intercooler. It's crazy heavy compared to my ebay one. 22lbs according to the scale. No more heat soaking.

Nice purchase! That's a massive IC and a very well done at that, one can't really appreciate the size till you put it against the car.
Machine shop called and said they didn't feel that the spot I picked for the breathers was thick enough. I ended up scrapping the idea for now.
In the mean time I decided to pull the trigger and bought an xtd pressure plate since my competition clutch has hot spots and no one can resurface it.
Gonna weld the return line bung on the oil pan. No more dealing with leaks.
The following parts are bought as well:
Gsc valves and valve stem seals
Gsc beehive springs
Gsc zero tick lifters
Im glad you didn't, it didn't seem kinda sketchy.
Stm did this to their 8 second car with no issues but they did it on the front.
Machine shop called me today and said I can get my stuff tomorrow afternoon. They're just waiting on the freeze plugs to he delivered.
I don't know if they were able to Polish the cams and save those for me.
typo, ment to say "did seem sketchy". I wonder if STM did it on the boss of the b/s inspection bolt, CBRD has there own version where they have a pipe sticking out of the block off cap where the upper b/s gear use to be. Ive only seen one picture of it, the pipe comes of the block off cap with a tight turn and routes to the rear of the block. Im not sure how well it worked and honestly never heard much chat about it on evom, I think the project was experimental.
