first thoughts that came to mind...holy sh*t this thing is huge compared to the stock evo 9 housing. this 84mm housing is huge...for those of you that dont know what an FP red can do just go on youtube and search for EVO FP Red.
countdown 1 week until the swap begins.. i will be posting from time to time as things progress.
Looks very promising, looking forward to updates!
niiice stuff man! Any idea when you're going to get it all together?
im on vacation next week...so for sure the engine is going in..as far as when shes gonna turn on...dont know yet...still have to gather mics fittings and stuff. mainly all you see will be installed except for the new turbo, thanks to stewi i almost made a mistake of installing this turbo during break in period and risk metal particles getting in the new turbo. a lot will be done next, its just a matter of time now.
well i started taking it all apart... only worked on it for 4 hours, got all the plugs labeled and removed. will work on it all day tomorrow and try to have it out, waiting on a few fittings to arrive before i drop the motor in. meanwhile ill go get the motor mounts pressed out to install the prothane mounts, plus replace the complete steering system with new control arms, tie rods, bushings ect.. didnt have much time for pics today, so ill post what i have, more to come as the week goes on.
