I'm looking for 250-275 whp tops with good midrange response for road racing.
That's awesome, many g's going turbo, I'm gonna have to boost mine
I'm just sick of destroying people in the corners and getting thrashed on the straights, I'm doing this out of necessity, not because I want to, boosted car= more hassles @ the track, extra weight up front, etc, I'm gonna have to get new springs for the front of the car to compensate and figure out suspension for next season. Gonna have to build some brake ducts too and mount an oil cooler up front and upgrade to a bigger radiator with dual fans, all things that I really don't want to do :( Kinda wish the car was a v6, drop in a 6g75 with bolt ons and be done.
You could still drop in a 6G75 ;)
the stock evo intake wont work. it will rub the slave bleeder.
What did you use then jigz?
I used a 90 silicon coupler to a 90hard pipe to a 2.5"-3" coupler to the JMFab intake

and no nevermind that intake fits 84mm inlet turbos. the stock 8/9 turbos are 60mm i believe :(
