gave the motor a fresh coat of paint...mocked up the intake manifold bolted the fuel rail on with injectors. plugged the an drain fitting (for now) painted a few misc brackets. ordered a few more parts. engine should be in pretty soon

^you will love it man. I didn't think my motor mounts were that bad, but they were horrible... one was torn and the other 2 were disconnected about 180 degrees on the mount... so yeah.. also tried priming my side skirts, didn't work to well I think the guy gave me the wrong thinner lol or I need to adjust the fluid on the primer gun idk
how long did it take you? I need to give myself enough time to go to my friends house and do it (since I don't have a sawzall, vice, or anything lol).
I started at 7 lol didn't get done till 1500 ish..? but I smashed my finger with a 5lb sledge hammer, so I took like an hr half lunch LOL

Installed some 3" cattless downpipes on my 335i ........ talk about a PITA! Probably 8hrs total(4 today, 4 yesterday) to get them installed. You guys with your 4-cylinders have it easy! Can't wait to work on my Galant some, I can probably build my motor, install it, and have it running in 8 hours lol

Ok here's the scoop the bumper is my brothers 99galantES but he's not a well known member here so I figured I'd put it out there for him the guy he got it from sells whole jdm front ends for cheap n sent him the vrg instead of the old style so trying to sell this cuz he doesn't want it. N the guy is gonna send him the old style.
On another note I bought a new tweeter cover at the dealer today. $8.50 for it. N I checked on the price for the tweeter itself n its $140 by itself. WTF!!!!!
if he doesn't get $400 + shipping for it, he's going to toss it? that doesn't seem to make sense to me lol. IMO never tell people you're going to toss something if you don't sell it.. it just makes people less prone to pay your price.
