what paint did you use for the gold? did you put silver/chrome or metal cast base coat under it?

Nice paint on the cover Adrian! I wish I had grabbed the one I put on my Diamante before I let the wreckers take it, because it had that extra bolthole piece you didn't want, but would be perfect for the G I have now. I still have another smooth "Mitsubishi V6 24 valve" cover, but it's filthy. I grab one whenever I see one at the junkyards. It's great for 6G74 swaps so that you don't have that blank one the 74's come with, and you're not putting a "3.0L" cover on a 3.5L motor.

Bought a set of front brembos, evo IM and TB which I only need the TB so manifold is for sale aand a set of HKS 280/280 cams for DIRT CHEEEEEEEEEEAP :cool:

Thanks man but still have a lil more twisting and bending with my heat gun so I can get it sit a little better than what it is,and I used 1/4 in bolts with 1/2 in o. D. Flat washers and nuts and lock washers,its on there pretty tight.

Not sure really, It couldnt hang with the abuse I put it through. Fuck if I know it came with the motor and trans that I swapped in last summer.

That was gonna be my next question whether it was new or used.

I installed an excedy clutch brand new when I swapped mine and hit the drag strip with it one day and got few passes and I abuse it occasionally and its still holding up.

Maybe u should invest in a stage 2 or 3

Bought something very worthwhile that I've been putting off for the longest time. Prothane suspension bushings. Can't wait to put them in before seeing some track action next weekend.

Not yet hopefully the machine work will be done in 2 weeks then I will with the new motor. Though I fucking need to hurry since I go back to CO on august 14th for school and I am bringing the G
