wow nice pics, you did a freakin awesome job on that. something i want to do too but i dont have a second car in the mean time.
did you watch the weather and take the week off? or just do piece by piece and re-install?
Looks pretty awesome so far.
And for the record, the hump in the hood is not required for a DOHC setup, at least a 4g63t setup. I know the 4g64 DOHC has a taller deck height, so who knows.
Post up some finished results!
looks good in pics i cant wait till i see it in person if i like it then u r doing mine next lol
I am impressed with you doing all the prep and painting...the results are really great! I am just baffled that the paint came out soo nice considering where you were painting the car at.
Your 7g is the 3rd RED 7g I have ever seen in my whole life. A GS several years ago..a past member named NitriousOxide and yours. Looking forward to finished picks of the car all back together.
I would attempt to paint mine myself..but I don't have the time and my homeowners association wouldn't like if I painted a car in my yard.
Awesome job man. I'll say this much, i've seen the paint in person and it really does look absolutely phenomenal for the method/area in which the paint was applied. I'm sure the compressor made it a lot easier too. :D
A couple of shots I took this morning before work. Ill post some more later.

looks great, i see some action goin on with the trunk spray job but way better than anything i could do, thumbs up. time for droppage
wow... what trick did u do to keep the dust off and out of the paint? i want to see close up pics...
Well its not perfect, but its decent. I sprayed it in the driveway so it got some dust on it, but it isnt over yet. Next is to let it cure for a couple of weeks and then I wet sand it with 2000 grid to remove all the little crap that got stuck on it and then polish it.
Wow, that's some great work there man considering all outdoor elements.
oops wrong thread sorry
