Thanks for the heads up Rod. Hated you had to go through all that trouble with a shady company like that, and it didn't pay off for us. But you must you did have one of the hottest Galant here, before strippin her down. You should ride over there and kick his ass one time for us, or get some hired goons to do it. Let's just hope we get some good news from VIS soon, so those that want this kit can actually get it this time.

its a full lip kit: front, sides and rear and take note that the rear lip has only one exhaust vent and not dual, the one on the red galant was custom made. we take money order and paypal payment. it will take us 2 days to make the kit and 2 days to shipped it out and it will take a week for the shipping company to deliver the kit in 48 states. thanks</span>

So with all that said and done and the warnings from various members about Aeroflex a.k.a Eraca1ng, are you gonna risk it? If so let me know, and I'll see how it goes for you before i decide what I'm going to do. Looks like a 1.5-2 weeks waiting time before you can start taking other action against them if they try to screw you. Not that bad of a turn around time, I don't think they could disappear in that amount of time.

I'm not sure how the refund policy works with Paypal, even though I have an account with them too. I know some sellers have it setup where you can pay a little extra and you get you money back pretty fast if something goes wrong, like you don't recieve your items or your items are damaged. But in general, I think Paypal has it set up that if you don't get what you pay for, they give the seller a grace period of several weeks to make good on their commitment, I believe it's 30 days. After that, then they start on there end, which could take God knows how long to resolve, but you ultimately get your money back. I think the best way to go about it, since this company doesn't take credit cards, is to link your Paypal account to an unsecured credit card, especially one like Capital One or Discover. These companies usually take immediate action if you have a dispute with a company about a transaction, since your actually using their money until you pay them. The bad thing is that they will pull the money from Paypal since they are acting as the "middle man" on these deals, but this will light a fire under Paypal to resolve the problem cause like any biz they don't want to loose any money.Quote:

The Super VR-4 doesn't actually have a whole lip, it's just cornersplitters!
exactly........ the Super VR4 is the pre-facelift VR4 bumper plus the corner lip kit which he has but not installed yet.
okay I spoke with VIS last night and they said its a vr4 kit and would be 450 and 130 shipping
okay just got off the phone with VIS the vr4 kit is infact a full kit
bumper, sides and rear, and will run 705 shipped from cali to me in NYC
they have no pics of it as it is a new kit that they are now selling
they told me to check out pics of it on another site
I don't know what VIS is trying to pull, cause that kit ain't that new to them. I called them about it back in May/June and they haven't had time to take a few simple pix and post them to their website? Sounds like they are just plain lazy!! (Hell even old retired grandparents can take pics with an old 35mm cam, go to Wal-Mart and have them developed to a disc, and posted on the net faster than that!!) And considering they want you to give up $705 for something you ain't even seen, is pretty bold of them. On top of the fact of telling you to go look at it somewhere else, and buy it here. That's customer service for you. If I were you, if your going to get the kit from them, once you get it and have it installed contact them again and offer to sell them pix of it on your car for about $200 or at least the price of shipping.Quote:

I'm not trying to discourage you from getting their kit, cause if they actually have it, it's one of the baddest kits out there. I'm just saying if you decide to go through them, make sure to make it worth your while, and try to get something for all your trouble. Cause once it's on, looks good, and people know you got it from VIS, that'll be more money it their pocket on your work.
When I talked to them before, they did send the ad they used in mags which is the same picture Jay posted. He said they didn't have a pic of the actual one since no one had bought it and sent pictures of if installed.
VIS is one of the very few companies I would hand over my money and know I would get what I ordered.
